Yes. Aura Bows can be rehaired by a luthier using standard rehairing procedures. The tip and frog hair mortises are standard, and the LED strip runs along the top of the stick, with the bow hair sitting independently beneath it.

The battery casing is attached to the frog with a secure Velcro mount. During rehairing, your luthier can gently peel the casing away to access the mortise and ferrule, taking care not to pull on or place tension on the wiring harness. Once the rehair is complete, the casing presses securely back into place.

Yes. Aura Bows are constructed from standard carbon fiber, designed to provide reliable balance and playability while supporting the built-in LED lighting system.

Our latest version bows (The Aura Prism) feature a heavier rechargeable battery that provides approximately 45-50 minutes of LED illumination per charge. We recommend using the LED for featured moments or accents, or rotating multiple bows during longer performances.Single-light bows last approximately 25-30 minutes.

Yes. Aura Bows are designed to feel and respond similarly to traditional bows, allowing performers to play naturally while adding a visual element to their performance.

The Aura Prism RGB bows give you 10 distinct lightscapes that stay locked in until your next click: seven solid colors and three dynamic RGB movement modes in every bow.

• The Golden Rule: Absolutely NO "Fast Charging" cables or high-wattage blocks. Using fast-charging accessories delivers too much power at once and can permanently destroy the internal battery within seconds.
• What to use instead: Only use a standard USB cable—ideally the specific charging cable provided with your bow.
• The Power Block: Pair that standard cable with a standard 5V / 1A (5-Volt, 1-Amp) charging block (like the classic, small square phone chargers). Avoid USB-C laptop chargers or fast-charging phone bricks, as they will overwhelm the circuit.
• Do Not Overcharge: Keep an eye on the clock! 20 to 25 minutes is enough to fully juice up the battery. Do not leave the bow plugged in overnight or for extended periods beyond this window, as overcharging can stress and degrade the battery life.

Each Aura LED bow features a small button located near the battery. Press the button to turn the LED light on or off, allowing you to illuminate the bow during featured moments or accents in your performance.

For the Aura Prism bows, simply hold the button down to power off.
